Baking Soda
Step 1
Pour 1 lb. of baking soda into an open container. Baking soda is a natural deodorizer that will absorb odors.

Add 10 drops of your favorite essential oil to the baking soda. Essential oils are natural oil extracts that add a pleasant scent to the deodorizer.
Step 3
Mix until the essential oil is evenly distributed in the baking soda.
Step 4
Apply 10 more drops of essential oil, and continue to mix.
Step 5
Place the open container under the sink or in another convenient spot the bathroom. Replace mixture every three months.

If you have pets or children who might tip over an open container of baking soda, place the baking soda in a coffee tin, and punch holes in the top to allow air to circulate through it.
