Mobile homes are usually trimmed in a basic, cheap molding that is made out of styrofoam and then laminated with a thin sheet of plastic. Painting the molding and trim can give your home a fresh and modern look. Plus, it is much cheaper to paint the trim than replace it! Follow my tips to make this job easy.
Step 1
First, you will need to tape off surrounding walls and cabinets to prevent getting paint on these surfaces. Use a sturdy stepladder to reach molding around the ceiling.

Step 2
Next, you will need to prime the moldings and trim with Kilz. Apply a thin coat and allow to dry for 30 minutes. Apply a second coat and allow to dry for 1 hour.
Step 3
Use the semi-gloss paint and apply a thin coat. Allow to dry for 30 minutes. Apply a second coat. Allow to dry for 1 hour.
Step 4
Carefully peel the painters tape away from the trim.
Tip
White trim and moldings look great against a painted wall!
