For this project, all you need is one sheet of 8 1/2-by-11-inch paper and a pair of scissors.

Step 1: Fold the Paper in Half

Fold the paper in half.

Fold the paper in half so the seam is at the top.

Step 2: Fold the Left Corner to the Center

Fold the left corner of the paper down to the center.

Fold the top left corner to the center of the paper so the left corner points to the middle of the right side.

Step 3: Accordion Fold the Left Corner

Accordion fold the left corner back to the seam.

Now, take the same left corner you just folded and accordion fold it backwards so it lines up with the left-side seam.

Fold the right side over the left.

Take the remaining right side half and fold it entirely over the top of the left side.

Step 5: Accordion Fold the Left Corner Backwards

Fold the left corner backwards to form a cone.

Accordion fold the top left corner backwards so it lines up with the right-side seam and makes a pointy top.The finished shape should resemble an upside down ice cream cone.

Step 6: Cut with Scissors

Cut from the right side point up towards the tip.

Align the scissors on the right side of the cone where the folded corner meets the side. Angle the scissors about 50 degrees towards the tip of the cone and cut in one single snip.
