Mix Flour and Water
Paper Mache paste is made with 1 part flour to 2 parts water. If you are in a high humidity area, add 1 teaspoon of salt to prevent mold. A good amount to start with is 1 cup flour and 2 cups water. You can always mix more if needed.
Whisk Together
Whisk together until flour is completely mixed in.
Ready for Dipping
The consistency should be like a thin glue, making it easy to dip strips of paper and apply to your surface. The paste can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days.
