Looking for a simple yet sweet gift for your Valentine? These Valentine's Day sprinkle cookies come together within minutes and are so delicious!
This cookie recipe is very easy to make and doesn't require any special equipment. Since the butter is melted, it's super easy to mix by hand. Once you have your cookie dough ready, you'll roll the balls into some Valentine's sprinkles until they're fully coated. When the cookies bake, the dough spreads out, and each cookie has sprinkles all on the outside. This adds a nice layer of crunchy texture and the perfect amount of sweetness.

SERVINGS: 12 cookies
PREP TIME: 15 minutes
BAKE TIME: 10–13 minutes
TOTAL TIME: About 30 minutes
Things You'll Need
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. fine sea salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup light or dark brown sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
1 egg
1/8 cup red nonpareils
1/3 cup Valentine's sprinkles
1. Mix the melted butter and sugars
Preheat the oven to 350°F and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, mix the melted butter and sugars until combined.
2. Stir in the egg and vanilla
Stir in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
3. Stir in the dry ingredients
Add all of the dry ingredients, mixing until no dry spots remain.
4. Roll the dough
In a small bowl, mix together the red nonpareils and the Valentine's sprinkles until fully combined.
Use a medium cookie dough scoop to gather 2 to 3 tablespoon-size balls. Roll the balls into the sprinkles, trying to cover the entire outside. Repeat with the remaining dough, spacing the cookies 3 to 4 inches apart.
Bake for 10 to 13 minutes or until the edges are set and the middles are mostly baked through.
Let the cookies cool on a tray for about 5 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to fully cool. Enjoy!
Tip
Store the cooled cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
