How to Make a Dinosaur by Typing

Launch a word processing program such as Word or Notepad. Ensure the text is aligned to the left hand side of the page. Type 20 commas followed by two underscores. Leave no spaces between the characters. The first line should come out like this: ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,__

Press "Enter" to tab down to the next line of text. Type 19 commas and a forward slash leaving no spaces. Press the space bar once and type an asterisk, an underscore and a closed parenthesis. The line of text should appear like this: ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,/ *_) Press "Enter" to skip down to the next line.

Type five commas, an underscore and a comma. Type four dashes, a comma, an underscore, a forward slash, two commas and a forward slash. Leave no spaces in between. The line of text will appear like this: ,,,,,,----,/,,/ Hit "Enter" to place your cursor on the next line.

Enter four commas, a forward slash, 14 commas and one forward slash. The line should look as follows: ,,,,/,,,,,,,,,,,,,,/ Press "Enter" to move to the next line.

Type an underscore, a forward slash and three periods. Type an open parenthesis and six periods. Continue with a straight vertical line ("Shift + ") one period, and an open parenthesis. Finish off the line with three periods, a vertical line ("Shift + ") and a closed parenthesis. The line looks as follows: _/...(......|.(...|)

Press "Enter" to tab down to the final line. Type a back slash, two underscores and a period and a dash. Enter a vertical line (shift back slash), an underscore and another vertical line (shift back slash). Type two dashes followed by a vertical line (shift back slash), an underscore and another vertical line. The text in this line will appear as follows: /_.-||--|_|
