Step 1

Put your boot on and measure the perimeter with fishing line. Slide two of your fingers under the fishing line between the boot. Add 1 inch for putting on the spring ring clasps, and cut the line. This is the amount of line that you will want for your boot bracelet. Measure and cut another piece of fishing line 2 inches longer than the first.

Step 2

Tie two tight knots with the shorter fishing line around one end of the spring ring clasp. Try to get the knots close to the end of the line. Cut any line that is hanging. Start placing the beads down the bracelet however you want them to be patterned. When you are done, tie a knot at the end so the beads don't move around or fall.

Step 3

Grab the other piece of the spring ring clasp and tie the hanging end of the line you just finished beading. Make sure that the knot is tied securely. Put this bracelet around your boot to see if you like how it hangs. If it hangs high, keep the second line the length that's already cut. If the boot bracelet is too long, cut the second fishing line shorter then the original.

Step 4

Tie an end of the second longer line onto one of the spring ring clasps with the first bracelet. Apply the beads down the line how you want them in a way that coordinates with the first string of beads. When you are finished, knot it and then tie it to the other spring ring clasp.

Step 5

Repeat the process if you want to have matching boot bracelets on each boot. Keep cutting longer lines to add cascading layers to your bracelet.

Tip

Find boot charms to add to your bracelet.

Warning

Don't use heavy beads.
