How to Install Mirror Wall Tiles. You can make your home sparkle with adding mirrored tiles to any wall in the house. Installing mirror wall tiles can make a room look larger or add a touch of elegance to a bedroom, living room or dining room. Best of all, a wall covered with mirror tiles is virtually maintenance-free. Pick a room, choose a wall and put up mirror wall tiles; your home will never look better.
Tip
Press the edges and middle of each tile when the wall is completely covered to ensure that each tile is firmly adhered to the wall. To cut a mirror tile, if needed, measure to required width, score with a glass cutter, turn over and snap at the scored line to break. If the corner of the wall is not plumb, it is recommended to stop the mirror tiles just short of the corner rather than to try cutting them to fit as this can be very difficult to do. You can use a mastic adhesive rather than mounting tape to install mirror wall tiles. If you choose this method, note that some surfaces require a bonding coat be applied to the back of the tiles before mounting.
Warning
Wear heavy-duty work gloves when installing mirror tiles in case a tile breaks. Always wear safety glasses or goggles when cutting mirror tiles. Removing mirror wall tiles, especially those installed with mastic adhesive, can be a tough job.
