White vinegar

Dish soap
Whether you are having a glass a wine at dinner by yourself, with your spouse, or maybe you are entertaining a dinner party, having sparkling wine glasses is a must. Wine is an elegant drink that should be served accordingly. If you start to notice your wine glasses getting cloudy, it's time to go that extra step and make them look brand "sparkling" new.
Step 1
Wash your wine glasses by hand. Add 1/2 cup of white vinegar to warm soapy water and wash your glasses with a dishrag. Take one glass out at a time to immediately rinse it with water and dry it with a soft dishrag.

Step 2
Soak your wine glasses in white vinegar. If your glasses are still cloudy, chances are it is hard water that is causing the film to appear on the glass or crystal. This time, submerge your wine glasses in pure white vinegar and let them soak for one hour.
Step 3
Wash your wine glasses again. After soaking the glasses in the vinegar, remove the glasses and wash them in warm soapy dishwater. Remove them individually to rinse and dry with a soft dishrag.
Step 4
Repeat soaking in vinegar and washing until the cloudiness disappears.
Tip
Always wash your wine glasses, crystal or glass, by hand. Every couple of uses, add 1/2 cup of vinegar to your dish soap so that a thick cloudy film does not appear again.
