Miracle Maid cookware is a great kitchen tool, but it can be difficult to clean. If the cookware has been improperly cleaned in the past, there may be dark stains that are unattractive. Fortunately, there are a wide variety of safe ways to clean Miracle Maid that will not damage the finish or make your food taste funny later.

Step 1

Try baking soda and vinegar. This mixture will remove most stains and is a great way to clean Miracle Maid on a regular basis. Dampen the cookware, then sprinkle some baking soda inside. Wet the baking soda with the vinegar to achieve a fizzing reaction; remove baked on food and other stains. Then scrub the entire thing with the plastic scrubber (never use metal) and rinse. Your cookware should be bright and clean.

Step 2

Scrub serious stains with lemon wedges and salt. Lemon is known for removing long-term stains. Cut the lemon into wedges. Sprinkle the salt on the stained area. Then scrub it with the lemon. The salt will dissolve rather than scrape your Miracle Maid cookware, and the lemon will brighten the entire area.

Step 3

Soak the cookware in OxyClean. Fill the sink with water and add a cup of OxyClean. Soak the cookware in the water for about 20 minutes, then wash with a sponge or scrubber and your regular dish washing fluid. Your Miracle Maid cookware should be good as new.

Tip

Miracle Maid has a dull, matte, black sheen; not a shiny one. You cannot get Miracle Maid to shine like other pots and pans because it is not intended to.
