Rug gripper pads prevent rugs from slipping. When you step on a rug with no rubber backing or a backing that has worn off, the rug may slide and cause a person to fall. But gripper pads sometimes leave marks on the floor beneath, and require an occasional cleaning to remove any residue. Make a cleaning solution at home with a few simple ingredients that are safe for all floor types.
