Many door hardware companies have made it convenient to purchase their door levers by making them easily adaptable to both right and left swing doors. Because of this the consumer no longer needs to determine if they have a right or left swing door. Kwikset makes door levers that are reversible, which allows to be used on any door. The process of reversing a door lever can be done quickly and easily requiring minimal tools and skill level.
Step 1
Loosen the set screws with an Allen wrench. These screws are located on the sides of the lever, towards the base. You will need to loosen two screws, one on each lever.

Step 2
Slide one side of the lever handle off the door knob opening. Set this lever aside.
Step 3
Pull the second lever out of the door knob opening.
Step 4
Reverse the sides that the levers are on by sliding the second door lever removed back into the door knob opening and then insert the first lever into the door knob opening.
Step 5
Reinstall the screws with an Allen wrench.
