Changing the oil on a 1994 Honda Accord is a task that should be done every 3,000 miles or so to keep the engine in good working order. Fortunately, it takes only a few simple steps, and over the life of the car, can save you quite a bit of money when you do it yourself.
Step 1
Jack up the front end of the 1994 Honda Accord using the jack. Rest the front end of the Honda Accord onto the jack stands.
Step 2
Slide underneath the Honda Accord and locate the oil pan drain plug. Place the drain pan under the oil pan drain plug.
Step 3
Remove the oil pan drain plug using the ratchet set. Allow the engine oil to drain into the drain pan for about 2 minutes.
Step 4
Replace the oil pan drain plug and tighten it using the ratchet set. Use the jack to remove the jack stand and lower the front end of the Honda Accord back to the ground.
Step 5
Open the hood of the Honda Accord. Remove the cap from the engine oil pour hole and pour 4 quarts of new 5w30 engine oil into the engine.
