Step 2
Pre-soak your Le Creuset enameled cast iron cookware if it has stuck-on food stains. Fill the cast iron cookware with warm water and allow it to soak for 15 to 20 minutes. Empty the water out of the cookware.
Step 3
Fill a dishpan with hot water. Add a few squirts of mild dish washing detergent and mix to create a soapy solution. Scrub your Le Creuset enameled cast iron cookware using a plastic mesh scrubber.
Step 4
Rinse your Le Creuset cookware in warm water. Dry thoroughly with a clean dish towel, rather then allowing your enameled cast iron cookware to dry in the dish drying rack.
Tip
Le Creuset enameled cast iron cookware is dishwasher safe but washing it in the dishwasher can cause the enamel surface to become dull, affecting the performance of your cookware.
Warning
Avoid the use of metal or abrasive scrubbers as they will damage the enamel surface of your Le Creuset cookware.
