The best way to juice a pomegranate is to use a commercial juicer. While some people would like to juice their pomegranates manually, you can save an unbelievable amount of time by simply using a juicer. The juice of your pomegranate can make fine cocktails and juices. Some even use the juice of the fruit to create unique sauces and sugary syrups. Juicers are usually equipped with a pointed reamer and a plastic bowl at the bottom to easily collect the extracted juices.
Step 1
Fill your large bowl with cold water and set it aside. Slice the pomegranate into halves using your sharp knife, making sure to penetrate the skin of the fruit in order to cut the whole piece apart. Submerge the sliced pomegranate in the bowl of cold water.

Step 2
Place your juicer at the center of your kitchen counter and insert its plastic bowl underneath it.
Step 3
Take half of the fruit and place it directly above the juicer's pointed reamer.
Step 4
Push the fruit down, while making sure to apply just enough force. Do not apply excessive force.
Step 5
Turn the pomegranate slowly and gently in one direction in order to drain the fruit's juices. Turn the opposite direction after making a full turn to continue extracting all the juices.
Step 6
Discard the fruit after removing all the juice. Juice the other half of the pomegranate following the same procedure.
