Things You'll Need
Orange, red and yellow sheets of construction paper
Marker
Ruler
Scissors
Glue stick
Get ready for a firefighter-themed party with some fun paper flame decorations. Craft easy paper flames using just three sheets of construction paper. This is also a great craft for the kids to try out.
Step 1
Draw flame patterns on the red construction paper. Start by drawing a large shallow S shape with the marker. Draw another S shape from the top of the tip of the first S shape. Draw a third smaller S shape from the bottom tip of the first S shape. You will want to make these flames the largest ones. Cut out the large flame pattern you drew on the construction paper.

Step 2
Draw a slightly smaller flame pattern on the orange construction paper. Use the same S-shape style for this flame pattern too. You will want this pattern to be about 1 inch smaller on all sides than the red flame pattern. Cut out the orange flame pattern.
Step 3
Draw the smallest flame pattern on the yellow construction paper. Keep the same S-shape style for this pattern. It should be about 1 inch smaller on all sides than the orange flame pattern. Cut out the yellow flame pattern.
Step 4
Spread a thin layer of glue on the back of the orange flame pattern. Cover the entire surface of the paper. Turn over and center the orange flame pattern on the red flame pattern so that the red borders the orange on all sides. Firmly press the orange pattern into place.
Step 5
Spread a thin layer of glue on the back of the yellow flame pattern, making sure to cover the entire surface. Turn the yellow flame pattern over and center it on top of the orange flame pattern. Center it so that orange borders the yellow flame pattern on all sides. Firmly press the yellow flame into place.
Tip
Make several flame patterns in different sizes and shapes to decorate your party area.
Create long borders or streamers of flames by taping strips of construction paper together.
