The Weed Eater TE 40 is fed by a spool of 0.065-inch line. When it's time for new trimmer line, you can either replace the entire spool or fill the spool with 30 feet of new line. Trimmer line is available at most home improvement and hardware stores. New line is necessary to maintain the quality and evenness of the cut of the Weed Eater TE 40. The replacement process is fairly simple.
