Wig Stand
Step 1
Put the wig on the wig stand. Tie up hair loosely in the style of a Greek statue, with loose curls and tendrils, with the white ribbon. Spray-paint the wig, covering it well. Let it dry.

Spray-paint the sandals inside and out. Let dry.
Step 3
Cut the fabric to the height of the wearer plus 12 inches and to the width of the full open arm-span.
Step 4
Put on the leotard and tights.
Step 5
Fold the top 12 inches of the material to the front. Wrap the material around your body under your arms, from left to right, pulling it tight under your left arm. Pin over the right shoulder with the brooch. Belt with the sash.
Step 6
Cover your face with the white make-up. Go well beyond the hairline of the wig and the neckline of the leotard.
Step 7
Put on your gloves and sandals.

This costume is based on an ancient Greek statue, but you can use the same methods to make a costume for any type of statue. For example, you can spray-paint a uniform and wig with bronze paint and use matching make-up for a bronze military statue. Use copper verdigris green cloth, paint and make-up to create a Statue of Liberty costume.
