There are many ways you can use plastic bottles instead of throwing them away to spending years in a landfill. If you are going to use plastic bottles for any craft project, you will need to clean out the drink that was inside and dry them out thoroughly. Of course you can allow them to air dry, but if you don't want to wait, there is a way to dry them quickly.
Step 1
Rinse the inside of the plastic bottle out with hot water, as hot as can stand it without it burning you. The warm water will loosen the adhesive that holds the label to the plastic and will allow you to peel it off much easier. Also, the hotter the water is, the quicker it will dry.

Step 2
Shake the bottle in a quick outward motion, with the opening facing away from you, to remove the excess droplets of water. Give the bottle three or four hard shakes.
Step 3
Turn a hairdryer on high speed and hold the bottle at a downward angle. Shoot the air into the bottle and make sure the nozzle of the dryer is not right below the opening of the bottle so it doesn't drip water into the dryer. If any moisture collects in the bottle, give it another hard shake so the water comes out the opening. Shoot air into the bottle for about 2 to 3 minutes to make sure the inside is dry.
