Things You'll Need

  • 1 cup red wine vinegar

  • 4 tbsp. olive oil

  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice

  • 1 tsp. ground oregano

  • 1 tsp. Cajun seasoning

  • 1 tbsp. salt

  • 1 tbsp. black pepper

  • Mixing bowl

  • Whisk

  • Meat injecting needle

Marinade is a liquid blend of sauce and seasonings that is used to soak meat in before cooking to give it extra flavor. An especially effective way of making sure the meat is savory and flavorful all the way through is to use a meat injection needle to directly inject the marinade into the meat. If you wish to marinate prime rib with inject-able marinade, you'll need to use a simple marinade recipe that doesn't have any chunks that could clog the needle.
