Things You'll Need
Headband
Pipe cleaners
Tinsel
Whether you are making an angel costume for a Christmas pageant or Halloween, or just hoping to show up at a party looking a little more saintly, a halo can be a fun, playful addition to your outfit.
Making a Halo
Step 1
Make sure the headband fits snugly, but not too tightly, around your head.

Step 2
Attach one end of a pipe cleaner to the top of the headband by wrapping it around the headband once or twice.
Step 3
Make a circle out of another pipe cleaner (or two, depending on how large you want your halo), and attach the circle to the first pipe cleaner in the same way, by wrapping the end around part of the circle. The pipe cleaner circle should now be above the headband so it would "float" above your head when you put on the headband.
Step 4
Wrap tinsel around the pipe cleaner to give your halo a nice shimmery look.
Step 5
Put the headband on, and you've got a halo floating above your head.
Warning
Pipe cleaner ends can be sharp, so be sure the end is facing out when you wrap the first pipe cleaner around the headband.
