Overview
An Easter basket doesn't have to be just for kids. Use natural elements to turn a thrift shop basket into unique, elegant, and functional decor that will look lovely in your home throughout the whole spring season.
Materials Needed
For this project you will need a basket with a handle, green spray paint, one package of mixed crafting moss, one bunch of foam berries and a glue gun.
Cover Basket with Moss
Cover the basket with a coat of spray paint and let dry completely. Glue moss to the outside of the basket, working with just a little moss at a time. Do not cover the inside of the handle with moss. Trim any excess moss hanging out if necessary.
Cut Berries
Snip off a handful of small clusters of foam berries.
Add Berry Clusters
Glue foam berry clusters in a random pattern to the basket and handle.
Decorate with Single Berries
Finish by gluing on single berries here and there between the clusters.
Present
All done! Fill with eggs, fresh flowers, or lay a tea towel inside and serve warm rolls for Easter dinner.
