Follow this simple method for making toilet "bombs" that will keep your toilets fresh, sparkling, and grime-free in between deep cleanings.

Things You'll Need

  • 1 cup of baking soda

  • 1/4 cup of citric acid

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. of Castile soap

  • Ice cube tray or silicone mold

  • Large bowl

1. Measure the baking soda

Add 1 cup of baking soda to a large bowl.

2. Measure the citric acid

Add 1/4 cup of citric acid.

3. Measure the Castile soap

Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of Castile soap.

4. Mix ingredients together

Whisk the ingredients together until fully combined.

The mixture should be the consistency of a snowball.

5. Press the mixture into a cube tray

Fill an ice cube tray or silicone mold with the mixture. Allow the mixture to sit overnight to solidify.

6. Remove after sitting overnight

Remove the toilet bombs.

To use, toss one toilet bomb in your toilet. It will start fizzing and eventually evaporate while cleaning the inside of your toilet.
