Things You'll Need
(2) tubes of E6000 glue
(7 bags) river rocks, pebbles (Dollar Store)
(1) rubber floor mat
Tip
E6000 glue works best when applying rocks to a rubber mat. A hot glue gun works best when applying rocks to a mat with made of fabric.
Step 1
Lay the floor mat onto your working surface. Open all seven bags of pebbles and wipe them down to remove dirt/dust which will allow the adhesive to stick better.

Step 2
Apply a dime size amount of E6000 glue to the bottom of your first rock and press it down firmly to adhere it to the top right corner of the mat. Repeat with another rock, placing it directly next to the first rock with no space between. Continue placing rocks tightly beside one another onto the rug.
Tip
Start by applying larger rocks to the outer corners of the floor mat. Then continue applying large and small rocks like a puzzle, working your way toward the inner part of the floor mat until complete. Place rocks as flat as possible for optimal comfort.
Step 3
Allow the floor mat to completely dry overnight. Moving it prematurely could result in rocks shifting or falling out of place.
Tip
If a rock falls out of place at any time, a quick fix is to re-apply rocks using a hot glue gun!
Step 4
Your new pebble mat is now complete! Place it outside of your shower to massage your feet each day or allow it to relax your mind as you enter and exit your home oasis. By adding this new decorative element, every day will be a spa day!
Warning
Kids love exploring rocks and new textures, make sure all pebbles are set so there is no chance of them putting one in their mouths.
