Tip

Softer bread works best for homemade Uncrustables. Also, depending on the exact size of your sandwich cutter and bread, you might need more or less filling.

Step 1

On a slice of bread, add about 3/4 tablespoon of nut butter to the center. Spread into a circle.

Tip

Avoid adding too much filling. If the sandwich is overstuffed, the bread will tear.

Step 2

On another slice of bread, add about 3/4 tablespoon jam. Spread into a circle.

To freeze homemade Uncrustables, place the sandwiches on a tray in a single layer. This will keep them from sticking together. Once frozen, store the sandwiches in a resealable freezer bag. Thaw at room temperature and enjoy.
